Extremely competent, honest, and trustworthy, I can’t recommend Spence & Frye enough. I had initially gone to the Chevy dealer for a quote, but decided to get a second opinion here. I’m so glad I did, the team identified exactly what was needed and saved me $2,000 compared to what the dealership had quoted. No upselling, no unnecessary work, just straightforward and professional service. This is the kind of shop you want to find and never let go of!

I brought my vehicle to Spencer and Frye GM Specialist for an infotainment system diagnosis. They spent almost an hour trying to figure it out and were extremely thorough and professional the entire time. Even though they couldn’t fully solve the issue and recommended I visit a Chevy dealer but the dealer has more capabilities with the computer systems in the cars, they didn’t charge me for their time or effort — which says a lot about their honesty and customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back to them for all my future mechanical needs. Great people and excellent service!

After a strenuous week of replacing things on my truck I took it into Art at Spence and Frye GM specialist!!!! Art found the problem with quickly and effectively! My circuit board on my truck had some failure and him and his team were able to quickly resolve and repair my vehicle. As a traveler it’s nice to find a shop where their integrity and craftsmanship go hand-in-hand. He got my back on the road quickly and without breaking my budget. I am so honored and grateful to meet with Art and his crew to get my Chevy back up and rolling on the road! This is your one stop go to GM/Chevy shop whenever you’re in Pasadena or the surrounding area!!! Thanks so much Art and crew for knowing your vehicles and making sure that The Traveling Truck show is able to get back on the road!

I have been taking my Chevy Colorado to Art, Omar and the team at Spence & Frye for many years now. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and honest. I recently took my vehicle in for a brake replacement and a faulty airbag sensor. Art was able to troubleshoot the issue quickly and made suggestions during the repair that saved me time and money while still getting the job done correctly. The team there is honest and has a positive, welcoming attitude. I will continue to take my vehicle here and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy, professional, and knowledgeable mechanic.
